about

Silk Royal's 35th release features one of the original founders and artistic inspirations of the imprint, Russian star Mango, as well as fellow label veteran Embliss, who is responsible for writing many stunning progressive tracks of his own over the last five years. The collaboration between these two artists is thereby a thrilling moment for fans of emotional, melodic progressive, and not surprisingly, these two gifted composers have succeeded in crafting a memorable progressive anthem, replete with jubilant chords and, in general, overwhelmingly uplifting vibes. The Original Mix, more specifically, centers on Mango's now "trademark" chords, which are as infectious and joyful as ever. As the track progresses, the melodic soundscape is further enhanced by gorgeous pads and a variety of additional layers, including a virtual symphony of strings. In the main break, the atmospheric elements take center stage, leading into an unexpectedly powerful, dancefloor-friendly drop.

The first of two remixes is by quickly rising American talent eleven.five, who recently experienced a breakthrough, as he was supported various times in the past few months on Above & Beyond's "Trance Around The World" radio show. His remix begins with clubby beats and aggressive synths, in the spirit of the club house/trance that is sweeping the globe at the moment. The beautiful lead melody of the original is presented early on as well as a blissful piano part. Yet, the highlight of the track is truly the main break, which features the lead chord progression of the original completely "re-imagined" as a stadium-filling, peak-hour festival anthem.

Finally, the always reliable label standout Sundriver delivers another deep, moving progressive interpretation. Perhaps more aptly titled a "rework" than a "remix," his take includes very few of the original melodies; rather, the Polish star has infused the tune with moodier, darker vibes, with an overall feel that suggests a pensive listening state, in contrast to the "summer euphoria" of the aforementioned mixes. Although this remix is more laid back, we anticipate that veteran fans of progressive will appreciate the sophistication and equally evocative nature of this one.
